Perhaps there is something ahead that already makes you anxious. Perhaps you cannot explain the feeling at all. Before you face the day, there is a truth you can hold: God is with you. Spoken Prayer Father, as I wake into this new day, there may already be something I am afraid of. Perhaps I know what today holds, or perhaps I simply feel a heaviness I cannot explain. Your Word tells me, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” So before I meet the day, I meet You. I pray for Canada, Ghana, Japan, Romania, South Africa and Belgium. Meet every person waking with uncertainty, pressure or a quiet fear about what lies ahead. Señor, quédate conmigo hoy. Senhor, fica comigo hoje. Panginoon, samahan Mo ako. Let Your presence become more real to us than the things we fear. Jesus, You have not asked us to face this day in our own strength. You are with us, and Your grace is enough for the road in front of us. Holy Spirit, settle anxious hearts and give us courage without pretending that every circumstance is easy. When fear tells us to retreat, remind us that Christ is already present in the place we are going. Father, strengthen tired hearts. Give wisdom for decisions, patience in difficult conversations and courage for responsibilities that feel larger than us. We place this day into Your hands, not knowing everything it will contain, but knowing the One who goes with us. So I rise today with faith. I will not allow fear to have the final word. Jesus, walk with me, guide me and hold me. Let Your presence be my confidence from the first moment of this morning until the day is done. Amen.
