Description
Welcome back to Dark Tales Uncovered – Season 9: GRIMES – Before the Walls Knew His Name.
Every building has a smell.
At Rosewood Care Home, it's becoming impossible to ignore.
Bleach.
From floors scrubbed long after everyone else has gone home.
Rust.
From pipes buried deep inside walls that should have been replaced years ago.
Together, they create a smell Brian Grimes is beginning to associate with something else.
Home.
Brian's routines have changed.
He works.
He cleans.
He repairs.
And when another room becomes empty, he quietly records what Rosewood has lost.
A name.
A date.
Sometimes…
a photograph.
Everything has its place.
Everything has its purpose.
But Phil Rogers is becoming increasingly disturbed by the man he helped create.
Brian no longer reacts to his insults.
He no longer seems afraid of losing his job.
And worst of all…
Rosewood seems to react to Brian.
So Phil makes a mistake.
He follows him.
Down the stairs.
Past the maintenance cupboards.
Through the heat and darkness.
Into the boiler room.
Brian's sanctuary.
The lights begin to flicker.
The pipes groan inside the walls.
And the boiler awakens.
Thump.
Thump.
THUMP.
For the first time since Brian arrived at Rosewood…
Phil Rogers is afraid of him.
Not because of something Brian has done.
But because Phil is beginning to understand something far worse.
Brian isn't alone down there.
This is Dark Tales Uncovered – Season 9.
GRIMES: BEFORE THE WALLS KNEW HIS NAME.
Chapter 12 – The Smell of Bleach and Rust.
Long before Rosewood's corridors ran with fear…
there was a smell that followed Brian Grimes everywhere.
Bleach.
Rust.
And something waiting beneath Rosewood…
for its caretaker to finally become what it needed him to be.
