Azgaal Interview - "I made an album with Vrangsinn" S5 Ep.20

In this episode of Death Blow Podcast, we sit down with Naïwyn, the mastermind behind AZGAAL — a French metal project that's been quietly carving out its own dark, esoteric path since the early 2000s. We trace the full journey: from an unreleased demo tape that laid the groundwork for the project, through nearly a decade of underground releases including Solitude & Wisdom (2011) and A Matter of Death (backed by Vrangsin of Carpathian Forest), to the 2022 turning point Apotheosis — the album that redefined AZGAAL's identity and unveiled the occult, magical universe the project is now known for. We also dig into the 2025 collaboration with dungeon synth artist Werna Wolf on the EP Holy Grail, and the brand new release Divine Hitman, out now via Fetzner Death Records. If you're into atmospheric, occult, and esoteric metal — this is a conversation you don't want to miss. 👉 Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more interviews from the underground metal scene. 🎸 Find AZGAAL: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/azgaalmusic Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/people/Azgaal/61593280785222/ Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/intl-it/artist/7r5w6MqYUziGpnwhSVIkaM Bandcamp: https://azgaal.bandcamp.com/album/a-mort-la-tyrannie YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Azgaal #AZGAAL #FrenchMetal #OccultMetal #BlackMetal #DungeonSynth #Naïwyn #DivineHitman #Apotheosis #DeathBlowPodcast #UndergroundMetal #MetalPodcast
