EP#41-Week Two Scoreboard Shockers & You Can't Fake 3 & 0

Send us Fan Mail Week two told us who can travel, who can take a punch, and who is starting to look like a real contender as the Coachella Valley high school football season ramps up fast. We open with a rapid-fire recap of the biggest results, from Notre Dame jumping on Cathedral City early to Desert Mirage throwing down a 43-0 road shutout that makes their 3-0 start impossible to ignore.  We also dig into the most revealing “losses,” because not every defeat is the same. Shadow Hills shows real week-to-week growth even against a tough opponent, and Xavier Prep might have found its spark in a wild nine-minute stretch where the offense finally clicks and King Palum looks like the kind of playmaker defenses have to game plan for. If you care about momentum, identity, and the small details that decide league play, this part is for you.  Then we roll into Friday’s storylines: Yucca Valley’s offense showing signs of life, Desert Christian Academy extending a huge regular-season win streak, La Quinta seeing what it looks like when the trenches swing the other way, and Victor Valley’s team speed stunning Palm Desert on film. We close with our week three preview, including can’t-miss matchups like Desert Hot Springs at Granite Hills and our game of the week, Yucca Valley vs Desert Christian, a matchup that could finally give the valley a clean measuring stick. Subscribe, share the show with a local football fan, and leave a review, then tell us which week three game you think flips a season.
