Description
This episode touches on the theme of Developing Leaders.
In this episode, we explore 3 common behaviors that create subtle, gradual culture erosion:
Workplace Incivility: which means lower-intensity discourteous, disrespectful, dismissive, undermining, exclusionary, or otherwise inappropriate workplace conduct that is inconsistent with reasonable standards of mutual respect.
Undermining Behaviour: which means conduct that inappropriately diminishes or interferes with another person's credibility, authority, contribution, relationships, or ability to perform their responsibilities.
Indirect Hostility: which means conduct that makes resistance, resentment, or disapproval expressed in a covert, implicit, or passive manner.
Our prescription for this episode is to create clear, direct, and transparent policies that can allow these hidden and subtle issues to become more tangible and actionable.
