Episode 169: Ambiguity of the Cybermen (Attack of the Cybermen)

We’re kicking off Season 22 with the fanwank fest that is Attack of the Cybermen, which, let’s be honest, is just a series of checkboxes on a rabid fanboy’s list. Oh, and that fanboy is Ian Levine. Maybe also with Eric Saward, and possibly also Saward’s ex-girlfriend? Sheesh, the authorship of this one is VERY confusing. ANYWAY…!   Join us as we discuss how this story does nothing but make us think of far better stories, cyber body positivity, the problems with our new Peri-l monkey (Anthony is SO sorry for that one), posh failed Cyber converts, how the Cryons are apparently trying to seduce absolute EVERYONE, and the dumb humor that Griffiths brings to the episode . Meanwhile, in the mail, one of our listeners threatens to send Anthony “back to Twink College” – OH MY!   If you would like to watch along with us, you can find this entire season available for streaming on Britbox in the USA (http://www.britbox.com) and BBC iPlayer in the UK (https://bbc.in/48GSaCB).
