Cafe Studios presents Doing Justice, hosted by Preet Bharara. Justice is about doing the right thing, in the right way, for the right reasons. And it's about making sure that no one is above the law. Doing Justice is CAFE's new narrative podcast, based on host Preet Bharara's bestselling book. In each episode Preet explores the key elements of a case from the unique perspective of the prosecutor whose job it is to grapple with urgent moral and legal questions. Should we allow an elected official to run for re-election while he’s under investigation? Can we prosecute a police officer for planning to kidnap his victims? Preet is the host of the hit podcast Stay Tuned and is the former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. It is not always clear how justice works, and he is the perfect person to take us through each investigation, unravel a mystery, and ultimately show us how things can be made right again. Subscribe now to Doing Justice - from CAFE Studios, produced in partnership with Transmitter Media.

Long Shot Justice
In this fifth episode of Doing Justice, Preet Bharara’s six-part adaptation of his bestselling book, Preet recounts the story of SueAnn, a sex worker who was brutally assaulted and robbed in her own home. SueAnn was almost denied her day in court -- until one SDNY prosecutor connected the dots and found the final piece of evidence to convict SueAnn's attacker. NOTE: This episode contains graphic depictions of violence and sexual assault and may not be suitable for all listeners. Check back next Wednesday for the final episode of the series, which will focus on the inspiring story of Rais Bhuiyan, who tried to save the man who shot him.
