Low water levels made navigating the rivers difficult, and the boating conditions challenged us every step of the way, but we kept putting in the work and found plenty of success. I never take any of it for granted. The hunts, the opportunities, and the people who make these moments special are all blessings worth appreciating. My aunt, uncle, and family opened their home, cooked incredible food, and made me feel like I never moved away 15 years ago. That’s what makes this journey so much more than hunting.
