What’s going on with today’s Democrats? Is socialism really the future? Are they going to sweep the midterm? Auguste has a conversation with writer and former Democratic operative Evan Barker to get the inside scoop. The two begin by discussing Barker’s recent book, Nothing Left: Confessions of a Democratic Operative where she tells her story of working on progressive campaigns. All the while, Auguste asks Evan to spill some tea on some of the better known progressive personalities like AOC and Bernie Sanders. Evan later gives her two cents on the upcoming midterms and the ongoing Democrat obsession with identity politics.
