Ask God "Why Are You Here?" EP. 22

Send us Fan Mail The question sounds simple until you say it out loud on a hard day: Why am I here? I’m not talking about a vague “life purpose” poster on the wall. I mean why you’re in that job you don’t love, why you’re walking through a painful health season, why your marriage feels tense, or why your faith feels dry even though you’re trying to do the right thing. We start in Jeremiah 1:5 and Psalm 139 to rebuild identity from the ground up: you are known, formed, and placed intentionally by God. From there, we get practical and uncomfortable. We talk about suffering, the reality of persecution, and the gospel call to repentance, because you can’t chase Christian purpose while refusing to face sin. We also look at Romans 8:28 as a lifeline when your emotions say God has forgotten you, and we use Paul’s example to challenge the pity-party spiral that keeps believers stuck. Then we bring it home to everyday discipleship: marriage communication, serving without keeping score, and the kind of forgiveness that shows up in your body and your habits, not just your words. You’ll hear a memorable “Tacoma” story about divine appointments and why you start noticing what you’re truly seeking, plus a direct challenge to examine your motive with Matthew 6 and to work with integrity per Colossians 3:23-24. If you’re ready to stop wasting the season you’re in, listen now, subscribe, share this with someone who needs it, and leave a review with your biggest takeaway.
