Author & Guide Sophie Malahieude on Emotional Balance & The Emotion Process

Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series. On this episode, we talk with Emotional Balance Guide, author of Beyond Emotions, and creator of The Emotion Process Sophie Malahieude. Sophie teaches that the body speaks before the mind understands. Her work helps people learn to listen to those signals, allowing emotions to become a source of clarity rather than confusion. She created The Emotion Process, a body-based approach that helps people understand and work with emotions through the body instead of getting trapped in overthinking and analyzing everything through the mind. For more than 28 years, Sophie has studied and taught yoga, Ayurveda, mindfulness, and breathwork. From her roots in France to her current home in Colorado, her journey has been shaped by a deep exploration of the connection between the body, emotions, awareness, and personal growth. We get into emotional balance, understanding emotions, body awareness, mindfulness, breathwork, yoga, Ayurveda, emotional intelligence, The Emotion Process, Beyond Emotions, and so much more.
