Summer of Editors Series: "GoodFellas" (1990) with Brian Skutles

On this week's episode of Female Gaze: The Film Club, Morgan is joined by critic, composer, filmmaker, and writer Brian Skutle in the continuation of our Summer of Editors Series. The pair discuss the 1990 film, "GoodFellas," directed by Martin Scorsese (ever heard of him?) and one of the greatest editors of all-time, Thelma Schoonmaker. Brian and Morgan talk about Marty and Thelma's working relationship, how the film interrogates masculinity, and the elements which make this film a classic.  You can follow Brian Instagram Threads Bluesky Twitter Letterboxd Sonic Cinema Website You can follow Female Gaze: The Film Club Instagram BlueSky Website
