<p>self-awareness: to be aware of self— your thoughts, values, emotions; so forth and so on. it is an important attribute to cultivate because it allows you to find purpose, develop authenticity, and gain a greater sense of well-being— not only for your own peace of mind but also for others. as we are born into society, we are immediately bombarded with distractions. this could be our parents, the media, education system, or a combination of the three. as we embark on this journey back to our truest selves, cultivating self-awareness is a major component of the process. in this episode, ri discusses self-awareness, filtering out distractions, and shares some of the many ways that she has learned to cultivate self-awareness over the years. </p>
