His cozy relationship with a popular magazine seems to justify his assertion that he is afflicted with "Innocent Stupidity." However uncomfortable it was to hear about the particular experiences he used to describe this disorder (asking a teenage Walmart worker where the Dudewipes can be found??), let's applaud his willingness to submit to scrutiny so science can help him…and us.

But today's episode dove into a genuine emotional health concern that some people have when they try to assume control over the motherboard of sounds around them. David's best attempts to imitate the offending noises did not incite his pod-partner. But it did lead to new schemes about how to engage in shrewd psychological warfare.
