Aderyn, Freida Star and Asylums frontman Luke Branch with his FIRST solo work!

Ready to dive into some awesome new music. Another 3 brilliant artists lined up for this weeks new music podcast - along with some exciting news about a new live show that is coming very soon to a town near you... as long as you live in or near Stockport! But, in terms of what you care about now. Here's what Jim's put on the slate for this week's show... Aderyn: One of the most distinctive new voices emerging from Wales right now, Aderyn blends shimmering alternative pop with trip-hop inspired grooves and razor-sharp songwriting. There's a touch of Massive Attack in the beats, plenty of modern indie attitude, and a real confidence that shines throughout her new EP Hot Pink! Luke Branch: Best known as the frontman of cult indie-punks Asylums, Luke Branch's solo material feels anything but a one-man operation. Packed with huge, layered arrangements, psychedelic textures and punk rock urgency, his songs burst with creativity and ambition. Away from the band, Luke's freedom, ambition and imagination run wilds! Frieda Star: Hailing from Wolverhampton, Frieda Star deliver fuzzy, distortion-soaked indie rock with one foot firmly planted in working-class Britain. Drawing comparisons to The Strokes and the garage rock revival that followed, their sound combines swaggering riffs, relentless energy and infectious hooks. Come along to the first EVER Freshly Squeezed LIVE at Bask in Stockport on 22nd October.
