Something in the Woods

In this remastered episode from 2018, Beth and Wendy revisit the disturbing story of Swift Runner, a Cree man who murdered and cannibalized members of his family in 1879 - and blamed the Wendigo. We explore the legend, “Wendigo psychosis,” and what may have driven Swift Runner to commit the unthinkable. This episode was researched, scripted & edited by Wendy & Beth Williams.
