From Embarrassment to Elevation: Trusting GOD's Plans Through Past Shame & Trauma | John Giftah

The very thing that caused you pain, trauma, or embarrassment in the past might be the exact vehicle GOD uses to promote you into your divine purpose. Continuing our special series celebrating the 6th anniversary of the #1 Amazon Bestseller "Unveil Your Purpose" (and 14 years of ministry), John Giftah shares a powerful message on Navigating Purpose Through Embarrassment & Past Pain. Many people hesitate to step into their calling because a past memory, failure, or embarrassing moment left a deep sting. But Scripture shows us a different pattern: The Story of Joseph: Dream interpretation is what caused Joseph's brothers to hate him and sell him into slavery. Yet, years later in prison, Joseph didn't abandon his gift—and that very same gift of dream interpretation opened the doors to the palace and made him second-in-command of Egypt! A Real-Life Story: John shares how his brother Jason David faced an embarrassing stage freeze at his very first guitar concert as a child—only for the LORD to prune that gift over the years and turn him into a music minister whose songs now bless thousands worldwide. When you surrender your painful, embarrassing memories into the hands of the LORD and allow Him to prune and develop your gifts, GOD will transform that channel of pain into a channel of blessing for multitudes in JESUS CHRIST! 🔥 Key Takeaways in this Message: Don't Run from Your Gift: Why past trauma and embarrassment make us want to avoid the things GOD called us to do. The Joseph Irony: How the exact thing that got Joseph thrown into a pit became the catalyst for his elevation to the palace. Pruning Over Quitting: Giving GOD permission to refine your gifts rather than walking away after an embarrassing moment. Redeeming the Pain: How the LORD turns your greatest humiliation into your greatest platform of purpose.
