F**k the Algorithm: Post What You Want

Description

What happens when creators stop making what they actually want to make and start creating everything for the algorithm? In this video, I’m talking about YouTube, AI, algorithms, authenticity, and why so much content is starting to feel exactly the same. We obsess over retention, hooks, SEO, thumbnails, A/B testing, and what the algorithm wants. But somewhere along the way, we can lose the reason we started creating in the first place. I miss the days when creators made weird, personal, creative videos simply because they wanted to make them. So this is my reminder to myself and maybe to you too: Make the video you want to make. Film your family. Film your hobbies. Show your dogs. Tell the story you actually care about. Create something that connects with another human being instead of constantly trying to please a machine. Because views come and go. Algorithms change. AI will continue changing how content gets made. But being genuinely yourself is something nobody else can copy. And if something you create helps even one person, makes somebody laugh, gives somebody hope, or changes somebody’s day, maybe that matters more than optimization ever will.
