OCT 20, 202683 MIN

Description

This week we’re joined by Dr. Harry Jacobson an old school deer professor and the man credited with helping install Mississippi’s first “Deer Management Program”. The program went on to be implemented by many other states. Harry spent the better of his career at Mississippi State and his teaching tree includes some big names. Retired now he still works on hunting properties and keeps up to date with the latest research. At 81 he recently ratted in a killed a buck with his bow. We discuss how things used to be and compared them to present day. It’s a fascinating interview with a man that knows deer management.  Listen, Learn and Enjoy.  If you enjoyed this Gamekeeper episode, send the guys a message and don’t forget to include your contact info so we can reach you if you win a prize!
