Episode 205: When Everything Changes: The Story of Ruth

Hey GIGI girls, Today we have a brand-new story for you - we are looking at a woman in the Bible found in the Old Testament. Her name is Ruth. You can find her story in the Book of Ruth. Here is a sneak peek.... Naomi turned to her, her voice more urgent now. "Look," she said, gesturing down the road. "Your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her." Ruth shook her head, her fingers tightening around Naomi's cloak. Her voice, when she spoke, was steady. "Don't urge me to leave you," she said quietly. Naomi stilled. Ruth took a step closer. "Or to turn back from following you." The golden light of the rising sun touched her face, and for a moment, everything seemed to hold its breath. "Where you go, I will go," Ruth continued, her voice growing stronger. "And where you stay, I will stay." Naomi's eyes filled with tears again, but this time she didn't speak...
