Bigfoot & Hunting Stories That’ll Make You Rethink Deer Season

hunter sees something that makes him quit hunting for good. A $35 farmhouse door comes with an unwanted surprise. And Dan and Reid might never walk to a deer stand in the dark again. Cam and Kyle from Expanded Perspectives join God’s Country Podcast for a Halloween episode packed with strange hunting encounters, Bigfoot stories, ghost stories, and unexplained sightings from deep in the woods. From mysterious glowing orbs over a hunting camp to a bizarre encounter while elk scouting in Idaho, the guys share accounts sent in by hunters and outdoorsmen—and debate what might explain them. Dan and Reid also introduce “Little Ricky Studebaker,” the unexpected visitor at their parents’ house, before a conversation about haunted antiques has them questioning every estate-sale purchase. In this episode: • Bigfoot encounters—and the sighting that made one hunter sell his gear • Unexplained lights and strange encounters in the backcountry • A schoolyard Bigfoot story with an unbelievable twist • A supposedly haunted farmhouse door bought at an estate sale • The “little people of the woods” and duende folklore • Faith, the spiritual realm, and what Dan and Reid believe Whether you’re a skeptic or you’ve seen something you can’t explain, pull up a chair. These stories come with plenty of laughs—and a few reasons to hurry back to the truck. What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever seen or heard in the woods? Tell us your story in the comments.
