"Come talk to me girlie🗣️💖" What does it actually mean to follow Jesus? In this episode, we continue Beholding the King through Luke 5–6, where Jesus’ invitation begins getting personal. After an entire night of disappointment, Peter is asked to let down the nets again. Levi is called away from the tax booth. Friends refuse to let a crowded room keep them from getting someone they love to Jesus. As Jesus gathers His disciples, He begins teaching them that following Him will eventually shape the way they love, forgive, judge, respond, and live. Because following Jesus is more than hearing what He says. His invitation requires a response. And the beautiful thing is that Jesus doesn’t wait for us to become finished products before He calls us. He calls us. We follow. And along the way, He changes us.
