Description
The power of story is embedded in the cultural origins of human civilization - from the ancient Africans of the Nile Valley to the African descendants of the Americas and the Caribbean, it gave a collective people language, knowledge, and identity. It shaped the Black church tradition of Testifyin', which also gave people of African descent the space, time, opportunity, and relational support to speak truth to their experiences. What evolved from this cultural knowledge system is a remedy for processing pain, mending emotional and spiritual wounds, and leveraging communal support to redefine reality and generate new meaning.
Starting Liberation Therapy begins with walking through the doors of self-healing and taking a seat at the table of humility and cultural sensitivity. Book here for a 30-minute consultation!
