Kevin McGarry (Hallmark's The Spirit of Halloween - Actor)

Kevin McGarry is back on Heart in Motion, fresh off a busy weekend at Hearties Family Reunion, and we have a lot to catch up on. Since our last sit-down in March 2025, we've crossed paths at the Hallmark Christmas Cruise and the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City. This time we're talking about his new Hallmark movie, THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEEN.The movie is a spooky, second-chance romance twist on A Christmas Carol. Bridal designer Everly Stone (Meghan Ory) has wanted nothing to do with Halloween since an old heartbreak at the town's fire-station party. When her late mentor delivers a warning, three mischievous spirits take her through one unforgettable night that could help her heal and reconnect with her past, and with her longtime friend Beau Madison.Kevin talks about playing Beau, the friend who hasn't gotten the girl yet but leaves no doubt about how he feels, and what makes Beau tick. He explains Everly's hesitation to give anything a chance, how he and Meghan built their connection, and how the movie balances goofy Halloween comedy with real heartfelt moments. We also get into the costumes (and whether he just signed himself up for another costume panel at the Hallmark Christmas Experience), how they made Beau look younger for the trip back in time, working around the ghosts Beau can't see, including Lachlan Quarmby, and the big message about settling at the heart of the story.Plus: Kevin responds to the very exciting news about Nathan and Elizabeth this past weekend and is excited for Hearties to see Season 14 of When Calls the Heart. He's also excited for fans to see his next movie on Hallmark, THE CHRISTMAS EVE FEAST, premiering Friday, November 27 at 6/5c on Hallmark Channel. And, do we need to put out an extra chair at the upcoming McGarries Dinner in Kansas City?THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEEN premieres Saturday, October 10 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel and streams the next day on Hallmark+.00:02:16 - Elizabeth and Nathan are married news!00:07:00 - How long can WCTH last?00:12:20 - The Spirit of Halloween 00:22:00 - Kate Gordon, Lucie Guest and Lucie's block on WCTH Season 1400:27:45 - McGarries Dinner in Kansas City 💛 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more interviews and content that are coming soon!Love the interview and want to share a clip?
