Ryan McPartlin (Silver Bells at Christmas - Actor and Executive Producer)

On paper, Nick Day is the guy trying to buy the beloved family shop, but Ryan McPartlin made sure he's a lot more than the bad guy. Ryan joins me to talk SILVER BELLS AT CHRISTMAS, premiering Saturday, October 17 at 8/7c on Great American Family and streaming now on Great American Pure Flix. This conversation rounds out my Silver Bells interviews with director Brandon Clark and star Laura Osnes. We start with the big picture. Set in the small town of Comfort, Kentucky, the movie follows Ginny Nolan (Laura Osnes) as she fights to save her late mother's beloved Christmas shop, and Nick is the entrepreneur who wants to buy it. Ryan talks about how he approached Nick so he wouldn't simply read as the villain, what Nick sees in Ginny, what he's looking for in his own life, how his perspective shifts as he gets to know her, and what makes him a genuine contender for her heart opposite Tyler (Chuck Wicks), the man who sees Ginny as his muse. Then the cast. Ryan talks about building a believable love triangle with Laura and Chuck and building scenes with D.B. Sweeney and Taylor Kalupa.Plus: how his friendship with director Brandon Clark shapes their collaboration, the most challenging part of bringing Nick to life, a moment he can't wait for audiences to see, what sets Silver Bells at Christmas apart, and what he hopes viewers understand about Nick by the end and that important message in the story.Love the interview and want to share a clip?
