Description
Many Christians can quote St. Paul's words about faith, but how many understand what he was actually defending in Galatia? In this homily for the Sunday after the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, Archbishop Irineos examines the difference between the "works of the Law" condemned by St. Paul and the active, sacrificial Christian life commanded by Christ Himself. Drawing from Scripture, St. John Chrysostom, and the Church's living tradition, he challenges the modern illusion that salvation requires little more than intellectual belief and reminds us that faith in Christ is lived, not merely professed.
