#262: Summer Series: Armenia

The Armenian diaspora is twice the size of the current population due to centuries of foreign invasions, the Armenian genocide, and the economic migration.  Armenia became a part of the Soviet Union in 1920, and remained under communist rule for 71 years. During that time, Atheism was promoted by the government, and religious persecution was on the rise.  Today, while there are many Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons in Armenia, true Christianity is perceived almost like a cult.  Maral is the Crown of Beauty Armenia director,  and we are so blessed by her perseverance and grace to bring the gospel to the Armenian population.
