A Virginia Hoops Conversation: UVA Assistant Bryce Crawford Joins

A month out from the college basketball season, Preston is joined by Virginia men's basketball assistant coach Bryce Crawford to discuss his career, the transfer portal, the new Cavaliers and his thoughts on the recent exhibition against Vanderbilt. First, Preston and Bryce dive into his career going from a student manager at Ohio State to becoming one of Ryan Odom's most-tenured assistants. Bryce also explains how he originally got into coaching. Then Bryce gives a look into how Virginia approached this offseason from retention to recruiting in the transfer portal to round out the roster. Preston and Bryce go one-by-one through each new addition to get a scouting report and update on how the newest players are fitting in. Later Preston and Bryce breakdown the exhibition with Vanderbilt and look at key takeaways for the Cavaliers. Finally, Bryce discusses the growth of returnees like Elijah Gertrude and Chance Mallory and says who has taken a leap this offseason. The Hoos On Podcast is sponsored by Section 103.
