Ep. 21 What Is the Land Use Process? with Nathan Manzanares

In this episode of Housing Matters, host Roman "Tiger" Abeyta talks with Nathan about planning and land use in Santa Fe County. Drawing on his experience working with the county, Nathan walks through what the land use process actually looks like from start to finish, the biggest challenges he's seen, and how planning decisions directly impact housing availability and affordability in our community. He also shares what he'd like to see change in how these decisions get made — and what he wishes more community members understood about the process.
