How to Make Mature Bucks Move Where You Want Them | HUNTR #344

In this episode of the HUNTR Podcast, we bring back Bobby Kendall of The Whitetail Group to discuss how he sets up his hunting properties to influence mature buck movement. Fresh off killing a 174-inch Illinois buck on opening night, Bobby breaks down how food plots, mowed corn, and strategic access helped put his target buck in bow range. We also dive into his recent encounters with giant whitetails, October hunting strategies, and how weather and moon position affect deer movement. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. 0:00 Intro 6:20 Bobby Kendall's Illinois Hunting Property 12:24 Managing Habitat and Mature Bucks 21:00 Bobby's Opening Night Buck 27:40 Mowed Corn and Food Plot Strategy 41:06 Antler Growth and Buck Management 47:38 Kansas Hunting and Boat Access 56:32 The Hunt for Another Illinois Giant 1:10:50 Moon Position and October Buck Movement 1:26:00 Cold Fronts and Barometric Pressure 1:35:20 Scrapes, Waterholes, and Hunting Setups Check out The Whitetail Group: https://www.youtube.com/  ⁨@TheWhitetailGroup⁩  https://www.instagram.com/thewhitetailgroup/ https://thewhitetailgroup.com/ SUBSCRIBE TO THE CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/c/HUNTRTUBE Shop HUNTR Merch: https://wearehuntr.com/ HUNTR Podcast is presented by: Hoyt Archery: https://hoyt.com (Code HUNTR for 20% off apparel) DeerGro: https://www.deergro.com (Code HUNTR for 15% off) Predator Camo: https://www.predatorcamo.com/ (Code HUNTR for 20% off) Beast Broadheads: https://beastbroadheads.com/ (Code HUNTR for 10% off) Lone Wolf Custom Gear: https://www.lonewolfcustomgear.com/ (Code HUNTR for 10% off your first purchase) Tactacam: https://www.tactacam.com/ (Code HUNTR for 15% off) RackHub: https://www.rack-hub.com/huntr (Code HUNTR for 10% off) Pure Wildlife Blends: https://www.purewildlifeblends.com (Code HUNTR for 10% off) Primos: https://www.primos.com/ (Code HUNTR for 15% off) Bushnell: https://www.bushnell.com/ (Code HUNTR for 15% off) GhostCat Bikes: https://ghostcatbikes.com/?rfsn=9288680.8da010 (Code HUNTR) HHA: https://www.hhasports.com/ (Code HUNTR) Redneck Blinds: https://redneckblinds.com/
