Being a Son When Rejection Feels Real

OCT 2, 20261 MIN

Description

I said out loud that I am a son today, and then I admitted that it did not feel that way at all, because I felt more like an orphan who had been rejected. The rejection I was carrying came from people rather than from God, and I noticed how quickly it started shaping the way I saw myself. Jesus was rejected too, so being a son was never a promise that rejection would stay away from me. I came back to the one thing that holds, which is that I am still a son even when my feelings argue with it.
