"That's Not Leadership" | Mike Troiano, VC

Mike Troiano spent years thinking leadership was the speech at the front of the room. Then a mentor pulled him aside and told him that wasn't leadership. Mike is a venture capitalist, former CMO and lifelong storyteller. He grew up in Johnston, Rhode Island, was the first in his family to go to college, and learned to sell going door to door with kitchen knives. In this conversation we talk about Ireland, Springsteen, learning to let go of control, what his sons taught him, and why he believes all pain in business and in life is caused by distance from the truth.
