In Episode 92 of The Jesus People Podcast, Ryan Miller sits down with Shahriq Khan, a former Muslim who came to faith in Jesus after years of wrestling with Islam, apologetics, Scripture, depression, family rejection, and questions about truth. Shahriq shares the deeply personal story of how Christ met him during one of the darkest moments of his life, how leaving Islam cost him relationships and opportunities, and why he eventually became passionate about helping Christians understand Islam and reach Muslims with the Gospel. The conversation also dives into Shahriq's "Master Key," the biblical and apologetic framework he uses to compare the Quran with the Torah and examine Islamic claims about Scripture, Jesus, the crucifixion, Adam and Eve, Joseph, Moses, the Passover, and more. Key Highlights: Shahriq's journey from Islam to Jesus Christ The night Christ met him while he was suicidal Why leaving Islam cost him family, friendships, and business opportunities What led him to study the Quran and Bible side by side The "Master Key" approach to reaching Muslims with the Gospel Quranic accounts of Adam and Eve compared with Genesis The Quran's account of the crucifixion of Jesus The story of Joseph and differences between the Quran and Genesis Moses, Jacob, Saul, Gideon, David, and other biblical stories The Passover and its connection to the Gospel How Christians can defend their faith without attacking Muslims Why biblical literacy matters in Christian apologetics How ex-Muslims can help equip the Church to reach Muslims The cost of picking up your cross and following Jesus Shahriq also shares the story behind Christ Underground, a free online community designed to equip Christians to reach Muslim friends and family through biblical apologetics, discipleship, and evangelism.   For Christian life coaching rooted in identity in Christ: If you are wrestling with sin, fear, addiction, pornography, or spiritual stagnation, you do not have to walk alone.
