Your Brain isn't Broken, it's Hungry

Description

In this episode, I’m using my slightly neglected sourdough starter to talk about something our brains do really well: default thinking. Just like a hungry starter can collect a layer of hooch, our minds can collect familiar thoughts like I’m behind, I should be doing more, or something is probably going to go wrong. Familiar doesn’t necessarily mean true. Sometimes it just means practiced. We’ll talk about why our brains get so efficient at familiar thought patterns, how to notice the “hooch” without judging yourself for it, and one of my favorite coaching questions: What else could be true? I’ll also show you why confidence isn’t something you have to wait for. It’s something you build, one thought, one choice, and one step at a time. Plus, I’ll guide you through a quick Just Breathe reset to help you notice what you’ve been feeding and make a little space for something new.
