Just Nod Along

Have you ever nodded through an explanation and then immediately thought ok I still have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to do? Just nodding along to confusing game rules, instructions, conversations? And once you've acted like you understand, admitting that you're lost, well that can be pretty awkward to admit. But I say we stop pretending, stop just nodding along, and start speaking up. We have every right to ask questions, ask for a simple repeat, ask to slow down, or for a clear follow up email.
