In this episode, I attempted to continue the conversation on love be we ended going down several rabbit holes. It’s a good thing though because we picked up some nuggets along the way. Sometimes the journey is the destination. (That seems to be the running theme of my life.) We touched on some controversial topics and some unpopular opinions. Continuing on with the theme of love, in this episode we're talking about philio, b.k.a friendship. Making friends can be hard but keeping friends is even harder. My 2 co-hosts and I talk about the difference between friends and associates, what makes a friend, and friendship breakups. The love between friends can be a beautiful thing when done right and deep pain that's rarely talked about when that bond is broken. I'm also learning to do friendship differently by learning the skill of Relational Intelligence. This episode I’ll be discussing the movie Encanto with my first special guest/cohost, my sister, Christen! (How appropro to be discussing a movie about family with family.) There will definitely be spoilers so listen at your own discretion. My sister is also a mom so you’ll hear a brief cameo by my adorable nephew who I lovingly refer to as Thing 2. Keeping in line with the previous episode we’ll also be exploring familial love.
