The Foundations of the Righteous | Toby Sumpter

This is a Psalm of encouragement, but it comes in a context in which David’s friends were not being particularly encouraging. And so David models what faithful friendship and encouragement looks like, even when it looks like our enemies and troubles have the upper hand. The Text: “To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, flee as a bird to your mountain?...” (Psalm 11:1-7) King's Cross Church is a member congregation of the CREC in Moscow, ID.
