<p>25 november 2009. I Utah, USA, har den 26-årige John Jones kommit hem för att fira Thanksgiving med sin familj. Några dagar innan högtiden får Johns bror Josh en idé. Hade det inte varit spännande att utforska den kända "Nutty Putty-grottan"?</p><p>Vad de inte vet, är att John leder gruppen fel, och snart fastnar John uppochned i en väldigt trång och outforskad del av det stora grottsystemet.<br>I grottan kämpar John för att hålla sig lugn medan hans bror Josh och räddningsteamet gör allt för att nå honom. Med taket som stänger in dem och timmarna som tickar, ökar trycket på räddarna.
