The 9/11 CURE: Remembering the Heroes, Honoring the Survivors, and Rediscovering Our Humanity

September 11, 2001, is part of world history. It was a day of unimaginable loss, extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and service. In this special episode of LEAD with Dr. Ralph Hughes, I reflect on my personal experience in New York City on 9/11 and pay homage to the thousands of lives lost, the survivors, first responders, families, and everyday heroes whose courage and humanity emerged during one of our darkest moments. But remembrance also gives us an opportunity to reflect. In the aftermath of 9/11, we witnessed people helping strangers, communities coming together, and acts of service that reminded us of our shared humanity.
