Spiritual Warfare and Revival: Insights from Marquise Cox | Finding the Super Natural EP.1

In episode one of this five part series, "Finding the Super Natural in the Natural," featuring leaders from a recent church revival, Rusty interviews Marquise Cox about his life and ministry. Marquise shares giving his life to Jesus at 16, sensing a call to pastoral ministry around 19, and being discipled and affirmed by his senior pastor, Charles Gibson, at Breakthrough Church of God in Christ. He recounts moving from California to Atlanta to serve at North Point after two years in youth ministry at Sandals Church, where he also led FCA efforts, then spending six years at North Point and later helping launch a 25–35 young adults ministry at Community Bible Church in San Antonio. They discuss benefits of video teaching, Marquise's preaching influences (Pentecostal heart, North Point clarity, Ed Newton “flow”), a balanced view of spiritual warfare using James 4 and Luke 4, and his favorite preachers and sports fandoms.
