“They Hit Us Bad”: New Video Reveals Iran’s Attack on U.S. Base

Lichtman Live #271Newly obtained video is revealing the scale of an Iranian attack on a major U.S. military base in Kuwait—and raising new questions about what the Pentagon knew about the danger facing American troops. The footage, obtained and authenticated by CBS News, shows Iranian ballistic missiles and drones striking Camp Buehring, with explosions and damage to buildings and military equipment. Witnesses also reported Iranian aircraft during the attacks. The attack placed significant pressure on U.S. forces at the base. CBS News reports that soldiers ran critically low on .50-caliber ammunition and that more than 100 troops who remained at the installation ultimately withdrew into the Kuwaiti desert. One service member described the attack bluntly: “They hit us bad.”The Pentagon declined to comment on the newly obtained footage, instead pointing to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s earlier statements that the military had moved the vast majority of American personnel away from bases vulnerable to Iranian fire.A Pentagon inspector general report has also documented extensive Iranian strikes on U.S. military facilities across the region, including significant equipment losses and damage. On Lichtman Live, Allan Lichtman examines the new footage, what it reveals about the Iran war, the experience of U.S. troops on the ground, and the questions it raises about the Pentagon’s handling of the conflict. How much did the public know about the attacks on U.S. bases—and what did Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth know?🔔 Subscribe for more sharp insights on politics and history!📅 LIVE Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 PM Eastern on YouTube!https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyQx8dGfgcQ4WUhrKP0ORlQ/joinOrder Great American Presidents Here: https://www.amazon.com/Great-American-Presidents-Transformed-Presidency/dp/161088731X📚 Order Conservative at the Core here: https://undpress.nd.edu/9780268210304/conservative-at-the-core/👕🫏Check out Dr. Lichtman’s Merch Shop!🐘🧢 https://allan-lichtman.printify.me/Find all of our links here! 🔗https://linktr.ee/allanlichtman#Trump #iran #iranwar #politics #LichtmanLive
