How to win over worry - Sunday, 30th August 2026 [Matthew Chapter 6 KJV] I. There’s plenty to Worry About. Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? II. Worry Is A Bad Investment. Matthew 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? III Sing and Search. Matthew 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? III. Don’t just fret there, Bloom! Matthew 6:28-29 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.IV.  IV. Take a Look outside. Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air; Matthew 6:28. . . See how the lilies of the field grow. Matthew 6:30 If that is how God clothes the grass . . . V. Choose to Trust God. Trust the heavenly father to provide for us as he has promised. Matthew 6:26 . . . and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:30 . . . will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Matthew 6:32 . . . and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. VI. Seek First His Kingdom. Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. VII. Live in the Present  Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
