She Left the Hustle Behind and Learned to Receive ! Ft. DJ Fre-Quency

What happens when you spend years believing you always have to be doing more? In this episode of We Ain’t Dying For This, Crystle Johnson sits down with DJ Fre-Quency, a DJ, sound healer, creative, and community builder who moved from Texas to Mérida, Mexico, and began learning how to live differently. They talk about leaving the hustle behind, learning to just be, getting out of survival mode, following your heart, and creating a life that gives you room to breathe. Sometimes the next level isn't about doing more. It's about giving yourself permission to receive. In this episode: • 00:00 — Learning to just be • 03:51 — What she got back when she moved • 05:05 — Working multiple jobs and living in survival mode • 12:44 — What she had to unlearn • 20:36 — Making time for the things you're passionate about I'm Crystle Johnson, founder of Kinory®️, a global social dining community and belonging ecosystem for Black women.
