Description
El estrés activa hormonas como el cortisol y la adrenalina. Cuando el cuerpo permanece en “modo alerta” por mucho tiempo, puede afectar la salud física y mental: aumenta ansiedad, cansancio, inflamación, insomnio, tensión muscular, problemas digestivos y riesgo cardiovascular.
También puede influir en el apetito, el peso corporal y el rendimiento físico. El cuerpo muchas veces responde al estrés emocional como si estuviera frente a un peligro real.
