Steelers' Chameleon Defensive Scheme w/Patrick Graham Aids Weekly Adjustments | DeShon Elliott Back?

Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast, and is joined by Nick Farabaugh of PennLive.com. The Pittsburgh Steelers' defense hasn't established a specific style or scheme yet under Patrick Graham, but that's how the team's new defensive coordinator likes his unit to play. Christopher Carter and Nick Farabaugh discuss how Graham's defense has chameleon qualities that allows it to shift and morph to different styles based on what the defense must do against various NFL offenses. But will this work for the Steelers in the long run? Also, Chris and Nick talk about whether the Steelers' wide receiver unit has actually made progress or not after all its investments during the offseason. DK Metcalf and Germie Bernard had strong performances against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but injuries to Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson have severely limited the depth of the unit for Aaron Rodgers, and that could be a dangerous risk even with the signing of Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Finally, Chris and Nick discuss the potential return of DeShon Elliott and how well the Steelers' secondary has performed so far this season.
