PREVIEW: Utah Utes vs Houston Cougars | Top 15 Big 12 CONTENDERS Collide on ESPN's College GameDay

Utah Utes and Houston Cougars clash in a top-15 Big 12 showdown with College GameDay primed for fireworks. Can Connor Wigman outduel Devon Dampier as both teams eye a statement win and a crucial edge in the conference title race? Parker Ainsworth and JT Wistrcill dissect the must-watch quarterback battle, the pivotal front-seven matchups, and whether Rice-Eccles Stadium’s altitude could tip the scales. Key storylines include Willie Fritz’s late-game edge over Morgan Scalley, Houston’s explosive receivers led by Amari Thomas, and the pressure on Utah’s secondary to withstand the Cougars’ air assault. The hosts debate if Utah’s home-field advantage or Houston’s elite offensive line will prove decisive.
