In Which the Sanctity of the Pod Lair is Breached By Guest Jason Beers; We Discuss His Imaginary Musical Peeps, Sasquatch Theory; and the Sad Tale of Jason's Gorilla Suit

Singer-Songwriter Laura Lisbeth and co-host Simone a.k.a. Mony welcome Kansas City Musician Jason Beers into the Pod Lair. This episode spotlights Kansas City Musician Jason Beers. In addition to being a talented musician, Jason is the creator of an entire stable full of characters who, after being born in his head, live and perform under the benevolent umbrella of "Quilt" Records label. The "Quilt Records Family" is ever so slightly reminiscent of the good old SCTV Network and its fun, slightly unhinged characters. But we don't stop there: we cover Sasquatch, Rollercoasters, Gorilla Suits and much more. Featured Banjo Tune: Apacotacojoco from the album East Virginia Banjo Tunes Featured LL song: Out On The Edge from her Hit The Ground Running album Find Jason Beers music at: jasonbeers.bandcamp.com To venture into the world of Mony Baloney, start at Freethehumanbeings.blogspot.com instagram.com/monyhere Laura Lisbeth music can be found at lauralisbeth.com.
