Mantras & Meditation & Creation

In this episode I share a deeply personal day from life at our farmhouse, a day when joy and sorrow arrived together. Three kittens from The 4 Heroes of the Fable Woods Valley, Myrsky, Tuisku, and Routa, left for their loving new homes. Later that same evening, our old horse Veera became ill with colic, and the time came to let her go. The next morning life continued. The horses still needed hay. Lilja was still with me, waiting for her own new home. And sorrow was still present. That day left me with a simple understanding: If you experience joy, love, sorrow, and goodbye in your life, then you know that you have lived a life. This episode is about love, grief, letting go, animals, the continuation of life, and the quiet Light that remains when someone we love leaves. With love, LightofLion 🌿🐎🐾

Summer has been a season of kittens, animals, music, creativity, spiritual learning, and transformation at LightofLion. In this episode I reflect on watching five litters of kittens grow, living with Usva from kittenhood to motherhood, and sharing this summer with Lilja, Routa, Myrsky, and Tuisku, The 4 Heroes of the Fable Woods Valley. I also share how this period opened a new creative chapter through music. I created The Stories from The Fable Woods, Songs from Shiva’s Path, and songs including The Paws of Mine, Luna Walks Beside Me, Lila and the Hare, The Voices from the Past, and The 9 Nights of Goddesses. Along the way I discovered ElevenMusic https://elevenmusic.io/join/6TIWL8HY and ElevenLabs https://try.elevenlabs.io/5ifj572wkt3o as tools that can help me transform teachings, experiences, stories, books, and meditations into music and spoken audio using versions of my own singing and speaking voice. Most of all, this summer has brought greater clarity about the direction in which I want to live, create, and grow. As summer turns into autumn, the kittens continue growing, the creative journey continues, and new teachings continue to arrive through animals, nature, Divine guidance, and everyday life. In Part 2 of Turn Your Senses to Divine, we continue our journey from the outer senses into the deeper awareness of the body. In this private LightofLion meditation, we use the sacred mantra Kleem to work with your inner senses and sense of touch, bringing awareness to the subtle information flowing through your body. We chant Kleem in three stages. First, allow Kleem to vibrate from the root chakra at the bottom of the spine upward through the chakras to the crown. Then allow the mantra to expand through your whole body, rising from your feet to your head and filling every cell with its vibration. Finally, allow Kleem to move into and through your skin, expanding your awareness beyond the boundaries of the physical body. After each chant, we enter a short period of silence and simply become aware of what is happening within. There is nothing to force. Regular practice is the teacher. Allow Kleem, your body, and your own experience to show you the way. You can return to this meditation daily or whenever you feel called to deepen your awareness. You may also explore the practice with other mantras. Together with Part 1, this practice is designed to help transform ordinary sensory awareness toward a more conscious and Divine way of experiencing yourself and the world. Chant. Feel. Listen within. Let the Divine senses awaken. Thank you, and enjoy the practice. LightofLion

Usva the Angel – My Teacher | Animals as Spiritual Teachers When Usva came to our old farmhouse as a four-month-old kitten, she spent her first weeks hiding. Then one evening she came to sleep beside my legs, and something extraordinary began. I had found another teacher with a physical body. In this deeply personal episode of Mantras & Meditation & Creation, I share the story of Usva: mother, hunter, companion, spiritual teacher, and the cat through whom I have felt the presence of Goddess Angali so strongly. Through the years, Usva has taught me to understand animals beyond words. She has shown me her world, invited me to follow her, meditated with me, raised her kittens beside our family, and helped me understand that animals are spirits with their own paths, wisdom, and purpose. Her kittens brought their own teachings too. Some inspired songs, including Two Brave Kittens, while another litter opened the door to my book The 7 Heroes of the Fable Woods. Her newest kittens, Lilja, Myrsky, Tuisku and Routa, have already inspired the next story: The 4 Heroes of the Fable Woods Valley. This episode is not only about cats. It is about learning to see animals and nature differently. Our horses, our dog Luna, the cats, the countryside, and the Divine are all part of my spiritual journey. We are all spirits who came to grow on this planet Earth. Listen, feel, and perhaps look at the animals around you with new eyes. 🌿 LightofLion Meditation • Mantras • Spiritual Growth • Divine Connection Visit: www.lightoflion.com

For Guru Purnima, the sacred Full Moon of teachers, I want to honor one of the most important teachers in my life: Usva. Usva is a cat, a mother, a mystic, and a great Spirit Teacher. She came to live with us as a small kitten, at a time when Goddess Angali was strongly present within me. From that day until now, our spirits have remained deeply connected. Usva has raised five litters with love and has taught me through her presence, her instincts, her silence, and her way of living. She has taught me how to hunt, how to understand the language of cats, and how to become more cat-like in spirit so I can learn from the world in a different way. Her kittens have also entered my inner world and revealed their true spirits to me. Through them, the stories and books of the Fable Woods Heroes were born. The words for this song came one morning while the four kittens of The 4 Heroes of the Fable Woods Valley were playing around my legs. I listened, wrote the words down, and created the song To My Teacher Usva. This special Guru Purnima podcast includes an introduction, the complete song, and a closing blessing. Through Usva, I also honor my connection with Goddess Angali, Varahi, and Parvati, whose energies are strongly present in my daily life and spiritual growth. May the energy of the Gurus bless me, Usva, and you who are listening. Listen, receive, and celebrate the teachers who may come into your life through Divine beings, nature, animals, family, silence, and love. Happy Guru Purnima!
