Episode 47: She Played Pro Ball Around the World. Now She's Building a League of Her Own (WPBA) | Faatimah A

Faatimah sits down with Mauricio to tell the full story. She opens up about growing up in Oakland, finding basketball at Dimond Park and never letting it go, transferring schools multiple times in search of the right fit, and the moment she went from averaging three points a game in college to dropping 30 a night as a pro. She breaks down what it really means to represent a country on the international stage, what it was like competing against Team USA, and the moment she realized the problem facing women players trying to break into the professional game was big enough to build a solution around.
