What does the future hold for Legions Imperialis – and should players be concerned about the recent slowdown in releases? In this episode of the Maximal Fire Podcast, we take a deep dive into the latest Legions Imperialis releases, the noticeable lack of new announcements and what this could tell us about the future direction of Games Workshop's epic-scale Horus Heresy game. With Adeptus Titanicus still very much part of the conversation, we discuss where both systems could be heading and what we'd like to see from GW next.We also look at another potentially significant development from Games Workshop: the move towards ready-painted terrain. Could this be the beginning of a wider change in how GW approaches terrain and accessories? Who is it aimed at, and what might it tell us about the company's future strategy? Then we're looking ahead to our own plans.Beachhead 2027 will be Maximal Fire's headline event for next year, and we talk about what we're planning, why we're putting so much focus behind it and what you can expect from us as we build towards the event. All of these changes also raise some bigger questions for Maximal Fire itself.
